The Slave Museum is an important historical site situated in the village of Agbodrafo that preserves the history of enslaved peoples.

Togo is home to young artists who work with wood, iron, plastic, and other materials to create remarkable works. These artists, whose inspiration and creativity flow through painting and sculpture, are passionate about their craft. They produce djembes, tam-tams, bracelets, necklaces, handmade earthenware pots and pans, and portraits of young people, women, men, and children from antiquity rendered in wood and drawings.

Their artistic creations are often displayed at Lomé's grand market, the capital. Furthermore, in the Kpalimé region, you will also find artists who create decorative objects. Togolese art is also exported to neighboring countries and to Europe.
